First Lord Basset of Drayton, he served in the French and Scottish wars. (S3).

He married Hawise de GREY (about 1270-S?)(about 1274-S3).

He was summoned to Parliament 23 Jun 1295 to 10 April 1299. He held lands of Ralph Basset of Weldon 1284-1285. (S3).

He died on (21-S?)(31-S3) December 1299 at Drayton Bassett, Staffordshire, England. (S3).
