Samuel Browning and Mary Clark

HUSBAND:
Samuel BROWNING.
Born (about 1683)(about 1688-S2)(on 9 February 1688-S1) at (South Kingstown, Washington County, Rhode Island-S1,S2)(Stonnington, Connecticut-S1); son of William T. BROWNING and Rebecca Wilbur. (S1,S2).

He married Mary (Mercy) CLARK (S2) about 1709.

Samuel Browning was born in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, one of three communities bearing related names -- Kingstown, South Kingstown and North Kingstown. He was the eldest of his parent's five children. Sometime before 1710 he married Mercy Clark, who resided in the same area, and they bore three children. Their firstborn arrived in South Kingstown, then the family moved to North Kingstown where the other two were born. (S1).

In September 1718 his father bought land from Samuel and his wife. (S2).

Samuel died after 1741 at Exeter, Washington County, Rhode Island. (S1).

WIFE:
Mary (Mercy-S2) CLARK.
Born about 1687 at South Kingstown, Washington County, Rhode Island.

She married Samuel BROWNING about 1709.

CHILDREN of Samuel BROWNING and Mary (Mercy) CLARK:
  1. Rebecca BROWNING. Born about 1710 at South Kingstown, Washington, Rhode Island. She married Isaac BULL on 8 April 1731.
