Folke (Filbyter)
Born about 1020.

Folke Filbyter is the popularized name of the pagan progenitor of the House of Bjelbo clan. His cognomen Filbyter is believed to mean "foal biter". (S1).

He died about 1100 in Sweden. (S1).

In Folkungaträdet (1905), by the Swedish writer Verner von Heidenstam, Folke Filbyter has three children with a dwarfish woman, a daughter of the dwarf Jorgrimme.
